Math002 (PYP) – Orientation Mathematics II
               Credits: 4 (3,1,0) - Prerequisite: MATH 001

This is the second of the two-course sequence. It examines exponential and logarithmic
functions, trigonometry, matrix algebra and conic sections needed for more specialized study
in computer science, engineering and other related fields.

               CMP

               CMP011 – Computer Orientation I
               Credits: 1 (0,2,0) - Prerequisite: None

The main objective of this course is to provide students with the required skills for using
computers efficiently and for using the common applications of computers which they need
during their university study and future careers. It builds upon the knowledge and skills
they acquired through their study in high school. The course covers some advanced topics in
word processing and a wide range of topics in manipulating data using spreadsheets. It is a
lab-based course. Hence, students are expected to learn by doing.
