All of us as a faculty members, administrators, and students are busy and the Recommended Physical Activities and Exercises
physical activity is generally missing in our full schedules. A quick way to be
more active is to do physical activity where you are in the university. The key
to be a physically active person is simple find physical activities that you enjoy
and do them in regular basis which will bring a smile to your face and bounce
to your feet. Bouts of activity like a 5-10 minutes walking or stretching can
improve your concentration, creativity and performance. There are an easy
ways to start with at university such as:
• Walk around the office or the class while you are doing something.
• Walk around from office to office, from class to class, and from building to
building.
• Walk up and down stairs; always take stairs as many trips up and down as
possible.
• Walk and talk to discuss something with your classmate or your colleague.
• Stretch your nick, shoulders, arms, legs muscles for 5 – 10 minutes of
stretching.
• Park far enough and walk to your office or your class.
