Please, read the following guidelines for abstract submission.

 

1. Speakers must be undergraduate students at a Saudi University. Participation is open to both male and female students from all nationalities. The Forum will be strictly segregated.
2. The abstract must consist of 250-350 words and include a clear scientific pattern including:

  • The context of the study

  • The purpose of the study

  • The significance of the study

  • Procedure / Methodology

  • Main Findings

  • Conclusions

3. Each speaker is allowed to submit a maximum of two abstracts for the review of the Forum Scientific Committee.

4. The Forum language is either English or Arabic.

5. Speakers are invited to submit abstracts in the following areas:

  • Architecture

  • Business Administration

  • Computer and Information Sciences

  • Engineering

  • English Language Studies

  • General Sciences

  • Interior Design

  •  Law

6. Speakers can choose one of the following forms of presentation:
Paper (20 minutes)
  • A paper presentation summarizes a completed or ongoing research project/work. The paper presentation should be a condensed version of the content of the research work/ project (central idea, issue or purpose, procedures, conclusions, and implications). Papers are generally not read, but spoken from notes, with 5 minutes at the end for questions and comments. This type of information is presented using audio-visual aids (e.g., PowerPoint/ Prezi presentation).
    Poster session:
  •  A poster session features speakers sharing research projects or studies that they have successfully worked on. All speakers exhibit their posters on a board/table and offer consultations upon request. Poster session presenters will be responsible for printing their posters (36 X 48 inches = 90 X120 centimetres) and mounting them. They also need to be available for question and answer sessions according to the time allotted in the Forum schedule.
 7. Important deadlines

  • Abstract Submission Jan 10 - Feb 7, 2019 (Extended)

  • Notification of Acceptance Feb 17, 2019

  • Submission of PPT Slides and Posters March 3, 2019

  • URF in Action March 18-19, 2019

  • Submission of Full Papers April 30, 2019
