Interdisciplinary Program: An academic program that integrates
two or more distinct primary specializations and culminates in a
single qualification. The program/degree title shall reflect both
specializations in one of the following formats:
• «Bachelor’s Degree in Specialization (A) and Specialization (B)»
when there is a balance between the specialized courses of both
specializations;
• Or «Bachelor’s Degree in Specialization (A) with Specialization (B)»
when one specialization constitutes the majority of the program.
Major: The primary field of study in which a student enrolls upon
admission and begins studying at the university, prior to registering
for any additional majors.
Double Major: An academic program that allows a student to obtain an
additional major alongside their primary major. It requires completing
no less than 30% of the credit hours of the second major, which must
be part of the college or program requirement and shall not include
university requirement or elective courses. The double major will be
stated on both the graduation certificate and the student’s academic
transcript.
Minor: An academic program that allows a student to pursue a minor
major alongside their primary major. It requires completing no less
than 15% of the credit hours of the minor major, which must be part of
the college or program requirement and shall not include university
requirement or elective courses. The minor will be recorded only in
the student’s academic transcript.
