International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) are the world’s most widely applied accounting standards. With the
adoption of IFRS in Saudi Arabia becomes a requirement, practitioners must increase their skills in this often complex and
principle based standards. The Consultation and initiatives Unit at the Research and initiative Center (RIC) is offering an
IFRS Training.
This live and interactive 14-day course provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your IFRS ability. It provides introduction
to all major technical IFRS requirements andcovers the most significant IFRSs that you need in your organization with
illustrative examples and case studies.
The objective of the training is:
• Understand the structure & framework of international accounting
• Have a good working knowledge of the most important IFRS standards so you know which principles are relevant and
important to your business.
• How to move from SOCPA to IFRS
• Have a sound understanding of the issues surrounding how these standards are applied in practice so you can apply
them to your own business
• Be able to prepare group financial statements
